Our story
Seventy years in the building trade
Rainbow Builders Supplies opened its doors in 1956 and has stayed family owned and family run ever since. Trading also as Rainbow Mica Build, we were one of the founder members of the Mica organisation, the hardware group that has grown to more than 160 stores across South Africa. We have kept our own counters in Boksburg all along.
We do not just sell hardware, we understand it. That means stocking more than 30 000 line items across building materials, timber, steel, ceilings, plumbing, hardware and paint. Two branches in Boksburg put that stock and that knowledge close to home.

Where are you located?
We have two branches in Boksburg: 22 Cason Road, Boksburg North, 1459, and 137 Thirteenth Avenue, Boksburg, 1459.
What are your trading hours?
Both branches trade Monday to Friday 07:00 to 17:00, Saturday 07:00 to 13:00, and Public Holidays 07:00 to 13:00. We are closed on Sundays.
Do you deliver?
Yes. Our fleet of Rainbow trucks delivers throughout Gauteng at an added fee.
